Welcome to Draeger Unusual Art. This site features the unusual art work and pieces of artist Steve Draeger and celebrates the world of color as seen through his eyes with his unusual art and wall sculptures.
Included here are examples of Steve’s wall sculpture art and three-dimensional wall sculptures, contemporary paintings and art furniture pieces as well as some of the many custom murals and paint schemes created for a wide range of clients and galleries. Steve uses color, depth and movement to create stunning original, unusual art.
Anguilla art galleries are as astonishing, unique and beautiful as the island itself. And Cheddie’s Carving Studio certainly is one-of-a-kind.
Jim Victor is a sculptor with over thirty years experience as an artist and teacher. His
sculptures have appeared in the New York Times, Philadelphia Magazine, Der Spiegel and others. They are also featured in private and public collections including the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library.
Among his many commissions are various food sculptures, including butter sculptures for several State Fairs, and chocolate sculptures commemorating entertainment personalities.
We recently created a new batch of “Captured Lightning” Lichtenberg Figures, and we’re beginning to roll out the new styles. Some of the new styles include spheres, larger cubes, beveled jewels, smaller 3D prisms, incredible Magnabrites®, and monstrously large figures as large as 24″x 36″. We continue to push the boundaries while building upon our hard-won experience to provide you with the very BEST Lichtenberg Figures in the world!
Rock On, Rock ON! The Rock Balancing Art of Bill Dan
He is a philosopher.
He uses the effect of his rock obelisks to expound on creativity, balance, and the idea that nothing is impossible. I perused his brochure and discovered he uses his talent to talk to school children on creativity and the art of the possible.
He teaches children to turn to their imagination, not to drugs or gangs.
His Rock on Rock art/philosophy has also been featured at business events sponsored by some of the largest corporations in America. He explained that people get trapped in what they have been taught.
One day they find themselves in a job they’ve done for years and ask “What am I doing here?” They get bored, fail to see possibilities.
The faces and objects pictured below are carved from the pits of fruit such as peach, plum, apricot, olive, sweet cherry, wild cherry and even the seed from the dogwood tree.
I hope that you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed carving them!
I build modular geometric sculptures using paperclips and other office supplies (really).
Paperclips are a wonderful medium to work in as they are very portable and inexpensive.
I’ve been meaning to update paperclipart.com with new pictures and more info for way too long…
Take a look around and enjoy Justin Schlecter‘s portfolio of intricate geometric paperclip sculptures.
